HARI KARAM (Vladimir Diaz)
KRI certified Kundalini Yoga Teacher
Growing up I wasn't involved in fast moving activities like running or speed walking. Dreaded going to gym class because it was always a warm up that involved running!!. I was not born to run, which is perfect, took me a long time to realize that. Fortunately I grew up with lots of friends and family that were understanding and supportive.
Luckily growing up in a supportive environment gave me time to find myself and experience all sorts of paths that were perfect for me. Art was one of my favorite, and I really enjoyed it, I have posted a few paintings below. (Continue below)

I discovered yoga at an event I went to with a friend who was looking to find inner peace. Best decision I ever made! In helping her in that moment I was able to help myself. It took a few weeks to get into the habit of practicing yoga, but after doing so with the help of my master Kundalini Yoga teacher Sandy Brazeau (Pritam Hari Kaur), facing my fears and challenges became easier.
There are challenges, pain and suffering that we all go through. Depending on the level of awareness each individual has, breaking through seated blocks and moving forward can be hard or easy. With years of practicing Kundalini yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan I found my blocks, challenges and fears. Using the specific practices, I brought happiness, peace, joy, confidence and health into my life.
I was not born into yoga, I walked into it and would not change it for the world.
Sat Nam and Many Many Blessings!!
my favorite yogi Bhajan quotes says:
"Yesterday you had pain, right? That was yesterday. You faced it. It's gone. It's over. You are a winner. Why are you carrying it on to today in your memory? Why? Don't you know the simple formula? What was yesterday was yesterday. It's gone. You faced it."

Yogi Bhajan
August 26, 1929-October 6, 2004

Born Harbhajan Singh Puri, August 26, 1929, in the part of India that became Pakistan in 1948, he was the son of a medical doctor. He spent his youth in privileged environments in private schools and his summers in the exclusive Dalhousie mountain region of Himachal Pradesh. As a young boy he attended a Catholic convent school.
When he was just eight years old he began his yogic training with an enlightened teacher, Sant Hazara Singh, who proclaimed him to be a Master of Kundalini Yoga when he was sixteen and a half.
"The best medicine that a person can have is the knowledge and experience that he can swim through every tide and change of the time. If you have the mental competency to deal with every situation that arises, then you are very happy, very healthy and a very well-balanced person." - Yogi Bhajan

KUNDALINI YOGA
What is Kundalini Yoga?

Kundalini Yoga as Taught by Yogi Bhajan® focuses on self-awareness and delivering an experience of your higher consciousness. It is a science of the mind and body, to elevate the spirit, which has no boundaries and no discrimination.
Its primary objective is to awaken the full potential of human awareness in each individual; that is, recognize our awareness, refine that awareness, and expand that awareness to our unlimited self. Clear any duality, create the power to deeply listen, cultivate inner stillness, and prosper and deliver excellence in all that we do.
Kundalini Yoga is also know as the yoga for the householders, for people who have to cope with the daily challenges and stresses of holding jobs, raising families, and managing businesses. It gives results in the shortest possible time. It does not require you to leave your home, become an ascetic or sit in a cave. Kundalini Yoga is designed to give you "hands on" experience of your highest consciousness. It teaches a method by which you can achieve the sacred purpose of your life.
"Kundalini Yoga is uncoiling yourself to find your potential and your vitality and to reach for your virtues. There is nothing from outside. Try to understand that. All is in you. You are the storehouse of your totality."
Yogi Bhajan

LONDON, ONTARIO
Gobinday, Mukunday, Udaaray, Apaaray, Hariang, Kariang, Nirnamay Akamay"
When we put all these words together they form what we call a "mantra". The word mantra itself is a unity of the word Man (mind) and tra (heat of life) and when put together and recited it forms a vibration so powerful that it affects each molecule in the cosmos.
Everything has a vibratory frequency, a stone, the tree, a feeling, a thought, a word. We are always vibrating, and when you become more aware of your vibrations you can learn how to vibrate frequencies that will help you. I like to think about it like a big rock and a little rock. All day I am throwing little rocks into the pond, for 8 hours (work, stress, good and bad thoughts etc.) then I run out of the little rocks and set myself in a state of meditation or yoga (BIG ROCK), so I proceed and consciously vibrate these pulses which form a BIGGER RIPPLE effect and push the little vibrations away. These little vibrations accumulated all day get consumed by the bigger vibrations. When practiced every day, be it yoga, meditation or any form of positive affirmations, your vibrations begin to change for the better. And that is our Mantra, GOBINDAY, part of the 3rd Sutra "when the time is on you, start, and the pressure will be off".
What does that really mean?
Gobinday = Sustainer
Mukanday = Liberating
Udaaray = Enlightening
Apaaray = Infinite
Hariang - Destroying
Kariang = Creating
Nirnamay = Nameless
Akamay = Desireless
I love the mantra "Gobinday, Mukanday" and I stand behind it. When this mantra is vibrated frequently it brings out compassion, patience, tolerance and it unites one with the infinite by working on the heart centre. This mantra is very well know in Kundalini yoga as the mantra that breaks through karmic blocks or errors of the past. It has the power to purify one's magnetic field which makes it easier to relax and meditate.
Kundalini yoga is the yoga of awareness, its for people who have to cope with the daily challenges and stresses of holding jobs, raising families, and managing businesses. GOBINDAY, is a place where you can feel safe while going deep within your being to bring out the best that you can be. Ralax, enjoy and come try a class, everyone is welcomed at Gobinday Kundalini Yoga.
Many Blessing and Sat Nam!
